Astropad - Cintiq alternative?

Has anyone tried this yet? Unfortunately it's Mac only. Software costs 50 bucks and ideally you have good iPad stylus. It basically allows you to use your iPad as mini Cinitiq, and it's especially designed for drawin.

If this requires using an ipad stylus, I can tell you that cintiq's are still light years ahead of any stylus currently available on the ipad. It isn't even remotely close. Still a great idea though, and the same tech on a galaxy note tablet would be amazing.

After buying a Note in 2012 and getting highly disappointed by it I don't think I'll opt for anything Ipad/tablet ish by far. Especially not because thers alternatives that are made to draw and don't cost a limb.

Just tried the VirtualTablet app Grimwolf linked with my galaxy note pro, it works surprisingly good, but doesn't allow you to see your screen on the tablet itself. Rather it just works like a normal intuos style graphics tablet. Sad that the air-stylus app abandoned its windows support, being able to see your windows screen directly on the tablet would be like having a mini cintiq.
