Hi, I have this wing model I made by layers lots of feather meshes. Since constructing it I've made a better feather model and need a way to replace all the old feathers with this new mesh while retaining their positions and orientations. Blender and ZBrush are the two tools available to me. Does anyone know how I could do this?

It probably depends on how you constructed the first attempt. For example, if you modeled a feather in Blender, then used it as a particle to be copied a bunch of times in a particle system, you could just model the new feather and point the particle system to that model instead of the old one.

If you have one object made up of a bunch of feathers, though, you might be out of luck in Blender. And I can't speak for ZBrush.
