Hey everyone,
Working on the Cupola of the ISS for a friend's short film, just done the first bake, need to get the rest of the high poly stuff modelled and baked for Friday, trying to work out where to go with it texture-wise as The ISS is quite current in appearence and my friend is thinking near future so maybe making it a bit cleaner and more futuristic this is where its at atm.

I sculpted the leather for the surrounds and have blocked out the remaining props that need to be made and then I'll be working on the materials... still haven't decided which colour scheme to go with.
still havent decided on colour scheme.
got the albedo for the extras blocked in and started thinking about lighting in marmoset
It would be nice to see even more stuff floating around there, whenever I look at space station references like this one thing I notice is how much junk is everywhere.
From the ref: DSLR camera, random bits of cloth floating or attached to various bits, more bars tubes and wires, labels/tape/notes. Other ideas: notepad and pen, space food.
Update on materials still lots to do and some stuff I want to go back into... the glass is the next thing on my agenda I think
Awesome stuff
I applied some crit given to me by some guys at Creative Assembly, I'm hoping it moved in the right direction, if you have any advice I'd love to hear it cheers everyone!
Calling it a day for a while methinks... still couldnt get the marmoset watermark to render
For a small render (dont need that much precision), I'm looking for the exact actual shape of the Cupola.
I would love a reference to a technical drawing of this ISS module.
As some seems to have done a great job modelling it, they likely could get some references about this (that I still couldnt find).
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
