After the VG Remix comp that ran last year, I decided to continue with the theme, and make some more dioramas based on Videogames, and just realised I hadn't posted them on here yet!

I've got three so far, with two more in the pipeline (when I get bits of free time). The two I've done since the comp have much looser budget constraints, but I still tried to keep everything relatively cheap.

The Metal Gear Diarama is my favorite. I like the particle effects and the HUD from snake. Great work man.

Holy hell man. These are all super fantastic. I absolutely love the Luigi Mansion/Resident Evil stuff. So much character in that diorama.

That Metal Gear Solid sure is... solid!

Personally I feel the Skyrim one could use some color adjustment to match the game's color palette more. Maybe snow or some tundra-like atmosphere. The dragon for example would be more Skyrim if it was black/grey like its antagonist Alduin.

These are fantastic! The Luigi one especially is much bigger then the preview shows. You put a lot of work into getting the props set up and building up the entire mansion. It's fantastic! Looking forward to seeing more! Do you know which one you are going to tackle next?

I dropped in the MGS diorama and was like "oh this is a cool little diorama"...for about 2 minutes I didnt know that there was more....alot more. Then I rotated all the way around and was blown away.

Dude, somebody showed me that MGS one not too long ago, I had the same reaction as wester, it looked really good initially, then when I saw everything on the other side it blew me away.

Well shit man, these are awesome! Love how much you managed to pack into each diorama. I was thinking of tackling this contest again as well, but, damn, you just upped the ante. Now I need to go back and rethink some things, including past life choices...

I came across your chibi gear solid scene on sketchfab awhile back and showed the modeling guys at Kojima Tokyo, they LOVED it! They were so happy looking through all the little areas :poly142:
