Where is the ID Substance Effect option?

I'm watching this tutorial and when he adds a substance effect to a layer, there's an option for ID selection. I'm not seeing that option; was it removed?

Around the 12:32 mark is where he adds it...

It has been replaced by the Color Selection effect. It works the same way but with a better UI and it actually shows the ID mask on the mesh for easier picking.

    Hey, just found it, thanks.

    Another question.

I'm not sure if this is a bug, but when I apply the color mask, and then add another substance effect, the substance effects seem to do the opposite.

For example, I add a fill layer for the tire of a car.

I use the color mask for the tire, it's filled with the rubber preset.

Here's an image of what I'm talking about:

Any idea what I might be doing wrong?

Yes, by default effects "add" information to the mask, adding white in the black areas. In your case, you want to apply the effect only on your masked color (which is white in the mask), so you need to switch the "Previous Blend" option of your effect to Multiply.

THis is a little confusing and we will have a better system in an upcoming update.

    Thanks. Got it to work.
I will say though, like you mentioned, it's rather confusing. :)
