Hey guys, I am working on a project that requires I make a couple of weapons, so instead of making a bunch of different threads, I figured I could just make one massive thread with all of them that I can just spam with updates .

I would love to hear any comments or critiques that you have.

This is where I am with the first gun, a M16a3.

The three forms here need to be connected and part of the same mesh. They're not seperate objects.

really nice weapons man, nothing really to crit though because i dont know how realistic you want them but, your front sight is a little off on the top, there are a few errors on the top receiver. but nothing to major. As i said i dont know how realistic you want to make it. If you are planning on making a low poly and baking the HP to the LP you might wanna look into increasing your edge size so they bake better, the way you have them now might not read well once baked. besides that really awesome work bud! keep it up
