Halo elite, 3D print
Hey guys,
I received my 3d print last night and thought I would share a few photos already.
It has been done by Ownage, it stands 7inch/18cm tall and exists out of 8 parts counting the pedestal.
The project took me quite some time, but now that I have the final result in I am happy I stuck with it. As an artist, I feel that being proud of your own work is hard to achieve. But after having put this together I just cant stop looking at it. It is such a reward to see it in a physical form that I have a hard time figuring out that I made this.
These photos are from trying out lighting and angles so I might add a few more shots later.

How much was it in total for all the prints?
I am also interested. The quality is really good. Also, how big is it?
It would be really fun to show up at a job interview with high quality 3d prints of all my sculpts. Publisher's lawyers would flip out if they thought I was making "toys" from their IP.

Jade, Not sure what you mean exactly with "for this" and "all the prints",
Just to clarify, There is only one print of this sculpture. I did this because I love the Halo Universe and now that it is finished and sitting on my desk I am not looking at multiple prints or distributing. There is nothing set up beyond it being a fan made art piece
Alec, it would be something else if you walk in and can show a print.
I am quite blown away by the impact it has to view a 3d model like this.
I wont give an exact as its quite the amount but the print is several hundreds of dollars. Does not help that the pedestal on its own contains a large volume of material.
What a great shot! Love the light and the 3d print came out so well. Makes me wish I was a character artist so I could make some stuff to get 3d printed.
Anthony! Thank you buddy! What just came to mind and will be complete overkill is to print out your enviroment pieces and create a real life diorama out of it. Bet not many people have done that before. Print a few and get a couple casted instances. Ive always wanted to build somethig like the Halo 3 diorama, could be good!
