Chivalry - Shortbow - Elite Bow

I hope to create a skin for the short bow that looks similar to the concept art below.



I am totally new to the whole 3d modeling thing so I doubt I'll meet the deadline, but I'm going to try.

I have downloaded and installed Blender, the open source 3D modeling software. I did one introductory tutorial that I found on YouTube. I created a simple cup, with ribs... yay...

I was also able to import the .fbx shortbow model into Blender, so I can use it as a base for my model.

I have started blowing up the width of the bow to match the curvature that I want.
