average screen size ?

Hey guys,

iam thinking about resize my folio and go more
for big pictures.
Iam at 990 page width and image with around 880 or so.

As i build everything up - i read, that 1024 isnt the
basic resolution anymore - this year its more 1200 ++

On the other hand i read, that HR and headhunter peeps are
more on the low resolution and that your images should
be mobile resizible friednly.

What do you think about ? Do you care, what sizes you show off,
in case of mobile and resize ?

Could do both, generally you can detect mobile with a little JavaScript, and serve it different CSS, that works better with the small screen.

Than for desktop give with something bigger, like a width of 1280.

Though just as a noet, even know my display is 1920x1080, I never run my browser full screen, and keep it windowed. I'm sure a lot of people do the same.

You could use a floating layout. There are a lot of free wordpress themes on the net that allow you to create sites that look good on every screensize.

i see that my simple selfmade html side is working on mobile very well,
cause the engine is resizing everything to its best side. But i feel when
you watch it on a pc - that the average screen size is to small ?!
Maybe i go with the 1200 atleast. Most people should be able to have a bigger
screen then 1024

- but wordpress is a good hint! - maybe i go deeper to it and combine it with my own theme
Do you have a good theme in mind ?
