ZBrush Insert Multimesh Polypaint Crashes

Hey guys/gals,

I've been trying to create a nice, good looking castle-brick wall in Zb using Tate Mosesian's technique, but in order to get sufficient polypaint detail in the larger wall's bricks I need to keep the polycount of each brick over a mil, resulting in an 80 million brick wall (obviously not ideal).

I've tried decimating the bricks, but in doing so I lose a great deal of polypaint detail, and if I try to bake polypaint to a texture Zb just crashes. I've UV'd each brick and even trying to export them into Xn to bake out the polypaint to a texture crashes Xn.

After about 30 crashes of Zb today I feel like I am out of options, and am going to have to deal with blurry polypaint textures with lower rez bricks. Any ideas?

After a ton of attempts I gave up on trying to polypaint the f'ing thing. I found that Mudbox has the same ability to bake tileable textures from objs and used that instead, seems to be working like a dream so far, due to the painting being based on the UVs and not polypaint.
