Animation translation errors?

I'm having a problem getting the translation in my animation to work properly.

I've already unchecked rotation only in the animset and re-compressed using the default settings of "Compress each track independently" but for some reason the translation is still getting messed up. Basically its skipping some positions. Watch the video to fully understand.

If anyone knows how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated.

Spent a bit more time playing around. I noticed that the number of keyframes in the animation were really low, so I manually baked them down in the Trajectory panel inside max and this fixed the problem.
