Here's my latest WIP. This Slark item set is based on the idea of some kind of symbiotic crustacean attached itself to the slimy hero as he was escaping. I'm thinking of naming something like Slark's "Primeval Mutation" set.

Brilliant concept and really well done sculpt, if it gets excepted it im pretty sure i will buy it .
But your design has a hell of alot of detail and im not sure the game will pick up on that, but im probably wrong.

I think that detail is actually good enough to show up on the bake but if masks are done right. Really interesting work and looking forward to finished product.

i think so that you will get problem whis low poly model of weapon=\ but not sure 100%, but its have realy a lot of details.

Wow, almost a year since my last post. I had kind of forgotten about this little project, and all the hype around TI4 reminded me! Here's a quick paintover to try and get a feel for things before I jump in and start polypainting. Used a lot of lobster references for the colors.

As always, feedback or antyhing would be much appreciated.

The sculpt look great, cant tell much from the color atm but i think it's gonna be great too, keep it up !

I like this trend of Slark-wearing-the-full-corpses-of-other-sea-creatures-and-thus-becoming-them... this looks seriously cool! The sculpt looks amazing but I almost want to see some more exotic colors on it as Slark has a really interesting color scheme.

darkkyo: I agree! The Dark Reef Escape set is really good, but yeah I'm trying to go in a bit of a different direction. I also agree with the colors looking a bit dull.

I made a version that I felt was a bit more punchy, but I must confess I feel like I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to color. Please let me know what you think!

I'd say desaturate just a bit or add some more blue tint to the whole thing, it stands out a bit too much as of right now.
