I've made up some pine tree assets for personal project I'm currently working on that I thought I'd share. I built them kind of modular with the branches and fronds able to be plugged into the trunks so I can quickly make as many variants as I need.
Here are two large and two medium, they range from 1300 tris through to about 2000 for the large. They all share the same 512x1024 map.

But I don't think you'll need much variations of trees, since it's even hard to tell that those up there are 4 different trees. So vice versa it would be hard to tell that it would only 1-2 trees if you rotate them a little.
So 3-4 should already be enough, I guess.
I agree. One tree and you can twist/scale/tilt for variation. You have some good painting skills
@Fenyce & Snafubar7 - Yeah agreed, I think this 4 will be fine for variation, instead I'll probaly make some other species to sprinkle in between, maybe some silver birch or something.

I am trying to figure out how to make a old tree that a branch cuts threw a old cabin like structure and I kept thinking "how am I going to unwrap this so it looks nice"
