Hey remember that movie with big octopus called Deep Rising? So i'm trying to model that gun that is in the movie... http://www.imfdb.org/wiki/Deep_Rising
Solid modelling so far, nice and clean. The grip under the barrel looks substantially chunkier in the ref, try and push it further so that it affects the silhouette more than it currently does. The distance between the end of the barrel grip and the muzzle looks like it should be shorter? I also think it would benefit from the addition of the flashlight shown on most of the weapons in the film.
Also it looks like everything behind the grip is a little too long on your model. If you look at the angle of the stock support coming off the back of the grip in this ref you'll see what I'm getting at.
Thanks for reply! But i probably leave it as it is for some time.
I started it with intention to make model as close to the reference as possible, but it just didn't work out. I was redoing the whole model for 3 times and the worst parts was the stock and that little motor just next to the clip - It just was like every way i tried to make it, it looked like crap.
This model is currently just killing my time, i spend too much of it for this gun and i'm not sure if i even wanna continue with that. I'd like to move on to modeling something else.
Fridock, please send me that model of the M1L1 rifle to me please, because I wanna use it in MikuMikuDance as one of the weapons my Vocaloid commandos will use.
