Hi guys, I've attempted to do some mechanical modelling for videogames, it is a motorbike that do transforms into a robot! There are some images and a video of the transformation working into UDK as well! please tell me what you think about it! :-D
The wheels have way too many unneeded edge loops especially when compared to the general poly count of the rest of the bike, same for the piece at the very bottom of the bike right in front of the rear wheel.
Watched the vid. do the parts of the bike just float over to become the robot? or are they actually rigged and rotate to look more life like.
Oh god please use some smoothing control. Right now it's hard to tell what is the geometry because of that 180' smooth. Either set smaller smoothing angle or use FWN script:
there is no rig, I only gave an initial position and a final one to the pieces.
for what concerns the smoothing controls I've not planned any smoothing groops in my unvrap because this is my first unvrapping. Thanks for your feedback I'll take in consideration your critics for my final presentation!

if You dont want to put too much work i suggest using that script i've mentioned above. the results will be much better right away.
could add in some paint scratches for variation in the texture
apart from that the robot has good form and proportians
