I like to show you some of my work I did for Crysis 3.
Props, vegetation and lighting by Crytek. For the big riverbed structures I mostly reused textures of the hydro dam at the beginning of the game.
Nice work! Did you primarily build the architecture and ground and fill it in with existing props and foliage? How much opportunity was there to create new textures vs using existing ones?

I was using a lot of already existing stuff for the level art in the riverbed. For the big Cell structure was just a few new textures needed the rest was already in the game and in a very good quality to use. To get a more unique look of the level we had to create some special props like the rusted ship containers.
If there was bit time I did some new textures or props to keep the variation higher.
For the corridor shots I got the chance to almost do all the textures. except some decal textures we had already in our archive.
