Greetings all,

I'm looking for ideas on how best to achieve a tiled roof shingle texture for the pictured roof. The unwrap is just a first attempt at figuring how how best to go about it.

Any ideas or suggestions you might have would be most welcome!

The best way is to have a ridge in the corners, like so:

Snader: Agreed. I have another piece (not pictured in the screen cap) to represent those "seams" if you will. So other than that just split that last section (that turns) off and rotate it to match a repeating shingle (tiling) texture?

Thanks for your input! You are correct, and I do have those ridges built (just a plane that faces the same angle with one edge down the middle, pushed up a bit to provide some depth).

    Cheers~
