Droideka heavy assault type WIP

hello!

Just though it might be fun to start a thread for this particular model sense I am going to return to it and really detail the hell out of it in and out of zrush. I have taken this from my hard-surface modeling thread here. If you wanna look at other had surface models Ive done, I suggest heading over there as I will always update that when I can.

I based it on a concept art for a game, but I made some design changes to give me a better challenge.

1.jpgI hope to add more detail then UV Map for zbrush damage and such.

I look forward to making this as epic as possible, Anyone have any ideas as to what more detail I could add? Also...I really want to render it really well. Anyone know of any great tips/ tutorials for creating/ setting up/ using/ metal shaders/ materials in maya? Mental ray or Vray.

I hope I can get some great tips from some of u epic level artists out there.
