Hedeby norse city

Hi guys I'm a little new here and i thought i would make this new thread and post my progress on creating the Norse city Hedeby. I am not sure weather it will be in UDK or the Skyrim creation kit.

I have been heavily inspired by my ancestors the viking/Norse and have seen several inspiring images of them and a lack of the great Norse cites. So i plan to create the great trading/military city of Hedeby

-My objectives
Complete the Norse city to the best of my ability
develop my skills and workflows
Create a useable and detailed landscape
Show the beauty of the Norse
Have awesome lighting and develop those skills in the game engine
Create a game friendly level ready for use.

Well below is a quick WIP of my world machine terrain. getting close to getting all the maps pout and start Photoshop compositing the Diffuse. I figured i minus well post a pic of it now while i can still change stuff before i get in UDK.

Ok this is a small update but i wasent pleased with my terrain so i re sculpted it in Zbrush and got it in world machine. i think this is better.... what ya guys think?

While i am working on getting my heightmap ready for UDK i thought id do a rough general blockout of a piece of the city. so i and others can get a feel for how it will go. Its a mix of already textured meshes and BSP brushes. Ignore the current terrain.
