UDK- heightmap materials on Landscape Terrain

I'm trying to setup a material to use the alpha map of the texture instead of vertex blending in the same way pampers and Eric Chadwick do in this thread:

This is my material so far and I've been unable to correctly add the mask. I looked at the setup Chadwick had but the only node close to "Layer Blend" is the Landscape Blend and it doesn't look like that.

I want to start simple and have the rock and dirt have alpha masks. If I paint the grass down, it fills in the cracks of the rock.
