Iv just got my hands on max 2013 and opened my environment only to find that the materials in the viewport are not showing. (It is just a grey mesh with hints of my vertex colour). After fiddeling around a bit i realised when i ticked vertex colour off i could then see my textures on my model. However when i ticked it back on, BAM, it goes. It works fine in 2012 and 2010. I assume its something to do with 2013, most likely knowing my luck, a tick button somewhere. But as for now i am well and truely stumped. Anyone know what this might be?
