This is sick. I love how it still manages to have that hand-painted feeling. Almost hard to tell it originated from a sculpt. Lovin' it, man. Wanna see more like this!
I am hooked on you're work, love your style, and this piece is no exception. The slight elevations across flat hard surfaces is something you pull off so well; do you mask off areas for such an affect?
Only comment on this piece would be that the model doesn't feel as huge as the concept does. But obviously your model doesn't have any object next to it so it's harder to get a feeling of it's size. I just think the cracks would be gigantic if the platform would be as huge as it is in the concept.
But nitpicking aside, awesome sculpt and textures!
really nice sculpt there man. Nice just on the tile like texture. you know it repeast but its subtly done. Nice job, but I still think the steps would add more to the piece.
@tottot/chris : I used an alpha from one of my sculpt to do these slight elevations. In this way, I can control the intensity of details.
I used the mallet fast 2 brush and the flatten brush to do this alpha. Sometimes I can use a mask to define my general form.

(I don't usually talk like that)
