Blender - ragdolling two skeletons together

Hi

You know the whole deal with lower/upper separate skeletons for a Q3 model, right? Well, what if I wanted to animate both skeletons together as a rigid body for dying physics to bake onto 90 frames?

I know the process is easier with one skeleton, but what about for two, with differing origins? (the entire upper skeleton is parented to a spine tag bone on the lower skeleton)

tl;dr: Death animations are hard. I've animated everything else but death at this point (paste mirrored pose f yeah)

Why would you use ragdoll in Blender and bake it?

Sorry, just trying to get my head around it -- ragdolls are generally pretty ugly, but the benefits are that you can simulate them in game at realtime and they'll always be different and react to the world around them.

But the tradeoff is that they generally look like a ragdoll, so normally you want to play a hand-animated or mocapped death intro before you ragdoll, so at least it starts off looking nice before transitioning to the ragdoll.
