hi folks,
i want to make a set of western buildings and props but i need some help on where to get good reference to model from and key information about western life in the 1800s like popular weapons used,type of clothing women wore,what was for sale in the shops,what buildings and establishments were in the towns,etc.i dont have any history books on this and dont have the money to buy a whole bunch of books to research.
if nobody can point me to a good solid database of this type of information then what i at the least need is good reference material to start modeling the basic buildings and props.
