Nitrous viewport failing?

Im wondering if anyone knows when the nitrous viewport in 3ds Max will be working properly? I am new to max, but running into issue after issue with the viewport. For Example: While in nitrous viewport, if I select a cv curve, and enable 'render in viewport' to turn my cv curve into a pipe, tube, etc. it still just displays as a curve. However in the DX9 viewport, it renders properly with thickness in the viewport. And vice versa, I often switch between shaded faces, and non shaded faces. I have it hotkey'd so that I can turn the shading of selected faces on and off. In Nitrous viewport face shading is toggled on and off correctly, however in the DX9 viewport, faces ALWAYS are unshaded (just outlined). I'm curious, am I missing drivers or something? Or are these just issues because Nitrous is new? At the expense of being an ass, it seems to be someone said "Hey, instead of one viewport that works 100%, lets have 2 viewports that each work 50%".
