So I remember there was one of these for Max awhile back, but I popped onto the Area today and saw a blog post about "Small Annoying Things to Fix in Maya".

Just like the Max version it allows users to post small issues they might like to get fixed, and users cast votes, and hopefully these things are fixed :P


My 2 suggestions were
  1. Obeying alphas in the Render to Texture dialog (its a PITA to setup lighting rigs each time I want AO or normals from something with alphas on it).
  2. World unit offset for the insert edge loop tool. I think this would be useful for applying consistent control loops to a mesh.
So please go check it out and vote and put up suggestions from the Game pipeline POV.

(This is a subset of a larger Maya feedback forum, but I figure the more specific the suggestion the more likely it will be solved, rather than "entire modeling toolset needs to be brought up to current generation standards")
