Architectural shader, i find, covers a large swath of materials. Couple that with some area lights, some bounce plates (grids with a constant whiteish material on them) and some FG and you're good to go. -

I played the mario kart gc version and wind walker with no problems. ebagg: - it does update when I connected my system but it took like 5 minutes so its no big deal . -

what do you mean by color wheel? if you change the FG or BG (foreground, background) color you can pick up colors from your document - is that what you mean? -

I did this a few months ago and forgot how to get it back. it's probably from selecting the wrong swatch in teh Color panel, which sets that FG or BG color swatch as your 'active' color -

My GC is not plugged in :( I could plug my vidcapture card in and get you that screenshot, but that would take a moment. (if the card works anymore) Edit : my machine refused to boot up with the card installed...
