I wasnt trying to say you were wrong, because you arent. Your example was quite clearly an observational mistake on my part, I just thought that your particular examples warranted further discussion. I mean it's obvious already that his intentions aren't to go back and fix this stuff up retroactively, but if you can nip stuff like what i mentioned in the bud before it's too late to fix then you have a "free" increase in quality.
