The only "decent" usefulness i see for... this idea, for all aspects of employment is, C&C = when you want quick c&c and YOU make the adjustments not a script.. i will still not like it no matter what, especially when people make money off it, that is just a punch in the face to any creative with any employment. -

Whatever their attempts or solutions they seem to care about money so go after their profits and that is how this situation gets corrected quickly, if some "gov" is attempting to "hear" "the people", then voice that, if they are using materials from living artists, those living artists should be compensated automatically… -

i haven't found much practical benefit for any of the direct art stuff, though haven't messed with it very much on the coding front i find chatgpt to be useful and used almost daily. so long as I can write pseudo-code, it is able to make working scripts in python and other languages. really handy for simple tools to… -

@poopipe yeah my attempts at using it for unreal C++ were an exercise in frustration. But still overall, as a relative beginner with c++, it definitely got me a lot further along than I'd be able to go on my own. I checked out their website and it seems the only thing the AI does is generate scripts and maybe the voices? Which others have pointed out, are not great, the comedian youtube video could be funny, but it is so completely flat. Does anybody use anything AI in actual game content production currently? I just wonder because I am trying for quite a while. Ai textures >> total crap. 100% i am so glad you can see that, i am against it all the way but people are actually saying the genie's out of the bottle and we have to "conform" cause its out there... if the "world" decides its fine then they go ahead its better than having nothing, cause its okay to steal apparently. What about all the stuff that is prohibitively expensive to make right now but could be doable in the future with AI? We might see new avenues of creativity pop up that just weren't feasible before. An example would be how epic sci-fi movies are usually made by giant teams in large studios. Same goes for most hand drawn…
