Hey guys. I need to select all the borders of these surfaces, I'm just curious if there's a faster way to do this than using the Border Edge Tool and selecting one border at a time? Thanks in advance.
Just wondering if there's a way to extend the border polygons outwards, creating a new border loop? Basically the opposite of 'inset'. 'Outline' doesn't create a new loop, and 'shift+drag+scaling the border' doesn't respect the direction.
Hello , how can I do to avoid deforming borders when applying modifications oan a mesh that has a open side? Ofted with Zbrush when I apply alphas or inflate or other brushes the borders get modified, I would like to preserve those in order to not change the general borders of the basic first level model.
I am using 3dsmax's Render to texture to transfer Normal, Diffuse, Spec and lighting maps from my detail mesh to my render mesh. Problem is that there is no "bleeding" of textures past the UVs so when I view the model in engine. I see the seams all black and ugly when it gets mip-mapped. I was told that there is a plugin…
I noticed inconsistent behaviour with border vertices using the target weld tool (TWT). To be more specific. When using the TWT, vertices get highlighted when you hover the cursor over it, indicating you can weld that vertex to another. Yet most of the time border vertices wont get highlighted, so merging these vertices is…
