I caught this on Imax 3d. It was really awesome. Since this is a spoiler filled thread the last fight thing in 3d was awesome. Definitely worth hunting down an Imax in my opinion.
It's gonna take a master 3D artist to transfer that concept to an atmospheric 3D scene. Do you have an idea how the other side of the scene is going to look? Or is it going to be a still?
Shoot Sorry. I figured it would go in 3d discussion because it's about a 3d program. I was sent the link from a friend, didn't realise it was up here already.
at 3D TOTAL I prefere this one - http://shop.3dtotal.com/index.php?cPath=28_31 and here is real PRO - http://www.thegnomonworkshop.com/store/category/6/3D-Modeling-and-Sculpting
Hello ladies and germs, Here is a 3d model of the AA-12 Shotgun I made in 3DS MAX. It's not perfect but it's a start. A bit of pinching but all and all i'm happy with it. Enjoy:)
Do they do the characters and props in 3d and then comp it over a 2d background? Is lots of anime done in 3d these days? I'm looking forward to watching another Ghibli movie this weekend.
this thread is 4 years old now - there's tons of info and decent number of environment artists. check out the polycount wiki, Eat 3D & 3D motive, to name a few resources.
Ditto. Straight sculptin ZBrush or Mudbox. Actual texture painting? 3D Coat all the way. So much easier than other options. Photoshop 3D stuff is horrible.
this thread is heading in a 4chan direction....but that doesn t mean its bad, in fact perversity and 3D can co-exist! But Elephant fisting and 3D, now thats another league...
