They should put a warning on it...Warning: Highly Addictive may cause craft explosions at 5000 feet if you don't upgrade your radiator. I didn't save. Figured I'd keep drilling down, using the money to buy fuel tanks, drills, and fuel tank spares. I went down with a matter transporter, and 10 spare fuel tanks...have about…
lol. sorry guys. My budget was 500 tris. Rendered in Marmoset with 1024 textures. Please... comment at will... ...the texture maps... ...the hiPoly... ... and the loPOly cast.
I was an illegal once... Thank you Bill Clinton! I lived in Arizona once... a lot of people from California escaping the 3rd strike I was born and raised in a city currently torn by a drug war... closing in on 5000 deaths since January 08, gotta thank the druggies in the US keeping my city as one of the most dangerous in…
for learning/practice try modeling 500 polys or less things and texturing them with 128x128 textures. This will help you learn to better use your UV space to maximize your detail in the texture. the smaller textures will make texturing go faster so less time spent on each one while learning and helps learn the importance…
You could maybe check out DH's AOE3 work here - http://www.horribledeath.com/2d3d.htm He has wireframes and flats on there... looks like under 500 polys, and a 256x256 texture for buildings, on average. Certainly not anything above 512x512.
Maybe you could buy a whole house warranty for $300-$500, wait a couple of weeks and then call up about your ac unit that "just started not working". We had a local home warranty service included when we bought out house and the previous owners didn't want to replace the broken dish washer and they told us to go this…
Aw man, now im totally gutted! I was poking around on the net and came across a couple of sources that show a quote of the GT5 head honcho Kazunori Yamauchi saying in an interview that GT5 uses "around 500,000 polygons per car". It's too late for me to go back and add 300,000 polys to this model, but i was planning to make…
Yeah, its got really tempting - despite perhaps being able to get around £50K as start up funds. That is.. if I set up in Scotland/Wales. Its incredibily frustrating, to say the least. Well, Mr Cleggy Weggy (My MP and the Deputy PM now) has a letter going his way on my opinions - I got some good, well thought out responses…
Okay I see. I don't think anything about 50k polys on that barrel is going to make the normals any better. About the environment, I would definitely go for scaffolding scattered around the edge of the scene.
