That's the thing though, they're not expensive at all. A bamboo fun is fairly cheap, and is easily a hundred times better than using a mouse. It did and it didn't. What story was there, really, in Half-Life? That's why they were able to convey it through the world. Freeman, as a character, is about as deep as a puddle.
