Here's a small composition using the pieces I posted earlier: The hangers themselves are 34 polygons each, and the blocks of pipes are 204 polygons for a 4x tube, 108 polygons for a 2x tube and 156 polygons for the curved tube part. Daphz, that model is awesome!. Will you be making the lowpoly and textures? Looking forward…
The minolta 50mm 1.7 is the first lens you should buy, you can pick up a used copy for $75-100 on ebay. This lens is sharp from about F2-5.6 or so whereas teh kit zoom is sharp from about F5.6-F8 or so, which in use means you can use the 50mm in a wide variety of lighting conditions. Its so cheap that it just makes a lot…

I have a Bamboo tablet and a Monoprice tablet. The Monoprice is great for a fraction of the cost and much bigger. Here's a review: http://frenden.com/post/31659364200/the-little-monoprice-graphics-tablet-that-could And the tablet:…
Agreed with notman, but its not so difficult to stick a notebook HDD into a desktop, you might just need to get an adapter( http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=HD-108&cat=HDD )... 5 bucks, meh... Just note that a lot of the time they are pre-set to Master because as notman said, most laptops only take 1 hdd.
We have a Monoprice 22" display tablet at work as a test, and it's been OK, just OK. The hardware is alright, but the drivers are not great. Seems it's a rebranded Huion, and some have said you can use the Huion drivers. But the price is certainly attractive.…

It uses…
That's my question, i only own a 2.0 license which will probably be no problem to run on my desktop. However because i always like to do some (simple) work on my laptop when traveling i would like to be able to run 1.8 instead because that one runs without any issues on my laptop. As mentioned i only own a 2.0 license so i…
Upgrading your CPU without upgrading your motherboard is almost always a futile process. You'll pay $1-300 for a cpu that is 10% faster. If you really want to upgrade you cpu, SAVE that money and put it into a new CPU/Mobo/Ram combo when you can afford it. In this case you could buy a AMD 5000+ off ebay for $100 and get a…
