Hello Polycount I'm a Game Art & 3D Animation student for four months now and this is my first showable result. Please let me know what you think. The Concept, model and the texture maps are from me. I used Maya13, photoshop and crazybump! The sword has 368 tris.
Hi Everyone! I am new to Polycount and 3D art in general. I just finished my first environment this past weekend and wanted to share. This scene was modeled in 3Dmax and lit in UDK. Original treasure chest concept: Treasure Room Library: Any feedback is welcomed and highly appreciated! =D
Hello Polycounters! :) Im looking for criticism for these rocks I modeled in 3Ds Max, sculpted in zBrush and baked using xNormals. * Normal Map * Ambient Occlusion Map * Curvature Map Please fire away! :poly122: ( I am aware that 2k textures for just a rock is a little unnecessary :P )

Hey polycount. Is it time for another comp character art comp yet? I would like to suggest 2k tri and 1024 texture limits. Diffuse / Spec. If anyone else has other preferred guidelines lets collaborate. Also if there is a spot on the forum for this kind of stuff, let me know. :)
Hey Polycount I've been busy working on this project the last months. Now I show you this preview of my new asset. This motorbike is rendered in 3Ds Max with the mental ray render, but in the future I want to take this to Marmoset and put on this PBR material. Please tell me your opinion about it.
Hello. I just graduated from the san francisco academy arts last week. Looking to do 3d environments for games, texturing, props. Any recommendations of what jobs I should apply for? Any recommendations that I should add or change on my website. http://www.andylittletonart.com
I checked the Polycount wiki but it doesn't seem like much love has been given to that category. Any good overview/starter animation tutorials you guys could recommend for Maya or Max? I've done some 2D animation in the past, but would like to try my hand at doing it in 3d now.
