I am having no problems with Windows 10 apart from a memory crash error. Need to check if I have MSI afterburner installed or GPU-Z. Because from what I have heard those cause memory crash errors :\
Well my tablet and Photoshop are working better in Windows 10 so far. I normally had to restart Photoshop to get pressure sensitivity to work if I plugged in my tablet after Photoshop was open, but now it's actually working without restarting the application.
I just finished installing windows 10 on my laptop (not risking my workstation yet) and i seem to have some problems with max 2012, random flickering happening in the viewport that was not happening in windows 7, other than that everything else is working perfectlly.
I don't know if it's been discussed yet, but I've seen proof that even with the settings turned off, windows 10 reports some extremely sensitive data to MS. Having bought a new SSD, I am keen to get the most out of it... but this really puts me off upgrading...
I upgraded my mom's laptop to 10. Really not seeing the benefit here, aside from them dangling directx12 in front of you like bait. I'm beginning to think I'm sitting pretty with 8.1. Seems like a lot of issues to sort through for a little cleaner UI experience.
Upgraded and everything besides my Nvidia Drivers and Photoshop works great, installed the newest Intuos 5 Drivers for Windows 10, but Tablet Pressure is not working... Works in Zbrush etc., not in Photoshop. And yeah, i did try to make all the fixes that helped me in the past, every time the same shit... -_-
I can't find a way to post a new thread. So I'll post it here. Does anyone use tablets with Zbrush? Aside from the Microsoft surface pro are their any other tablets that can handle zbrush? An any word on Zbrush for Android? On subject. New tablets with windows 10? Thanks
So are peoples drivers working well, I got a intuos 5, and it pretty much use it instead of a mouse. I want to move to 10 since my 7 install is getting pretty old and should be wiped out soon. But i need to know if my intuos, photoshop cs6 and maya 2015 will run fine on it.
I've got a ex-spare-a-mental PC that I keep around to try out just these types of things. It's currently running 8.1 and I'm fine with that, but since 10 is free I'll give it a try. If it works out I'll put it on my main machine which is running win7 and it's also a free upgrade or so they say...
iadagraca: Thank you! That is some good information. I'll be trying 10 later as a fresh install rather than an update. I was a bit worried about spending a lot of time setting it up only to run into issues like I did. ysalex: I thought it was a bit snappier as well aside from browser problems.
