Square edges? What version of IE are you using? 6+ uses gifs with alpha, 7+ uses the PNG files. I'm on a mac, so I CAN'T embed IE, since the last Mac IE was 5.5, a disaster. No bugger uses it, they either use FF or Safari for the most part. Doesn't work with Firefox 2.0a anyway -

o far the polycount to the model is arround 55k, i know this is kinda of a high value wich isn't really necessary for the whole character but since it's my first baking/ and low poly creation i will let it pass, my next project will have a more resized value in terms of polys. -

Luckily Big Ant's Bradman 2014 looks suitably impressive, so I think it'll be forgotten pretty quickly and won't have too much of a real impact on the development scene here beyond 505 and Trickstar. Wonder if Trickstar will change their name again. They must be on to their 5th at this point, right? -

Is your normal map being gamma corrected (it shouldn't be)? If it is being gamma corrected then it will be unnormalized and you'll hit these issues. What happens when you fill the entirety of the normal map with 127/127/255? is that what is happening in the first image? If so, that sounds like an issue with gamma… -

If it's phong, you need to specify an exponent (gloss) value or texture. Do you not find your PSU getting a bit strained under the weight of all that? I had a 550 blow out after I stuck a new 8600 GTX in my machine. I went straight out and got a 750w PSU to give it the extra juice the card pulls out. -
