A new $120 I3 is like 2-3x faster than the fastest AMD x2 processor, a motherboard and 4gb/8gb ram could be as cheap as an additional $100-120. I've had a shit ton of problems with my SSDs. I bought 2. a 60gig and a 120gig. 60 for my OS, 120 for my games and stuff (faster load times). You have some issues in your normal maps. There are a lot of gradients in them, which is caused by the low poly shading being taken into account during baking. Your normal maps should have a constant colour of '128, 128, 255', for the most part, with normal mapped details being alternate colours to depict changes in the… -

Yeah, you really have to respect the grid, to avoid gaps / holes / mismatched elements. Building in regular increments (eg. 32, 64, 128, 256) allows you to easily make sure pieces line up when building larger areas - for example you know that two 128-long pieces of corridor will always be the same length as a 256-long… -
