Very ominous character concepts, dii! There's a lot of details in them and I like the freedom there is for the viewer to imagine the characters in different color variations. Did you draw these in Painter with symmetry mode on or something? :-)
Heck, back when I was modding for Freedom Force (the superhero RPG/RTS), a typical character had more like 3000 - 3500 frames, and that was back in the early/mid 2k's.
Sony Hype for awful buddy comedy..I am sure they will reluctantly release the film to people eager to show NK they can not take away their freedom to watch awful movies
pretty definitive (& sampled) quote from an older movie: 'in honor of the last american hero to whom speed means freedom of the soul. the question isn't when he's going to stop, but who's going to stop him.' -J
WOW! your on some next level shit here. this stuff looks great! did you get alot of production concepts or were you kinda able to have a little freedom with some of the assets?
Thank you! I appreciate that. That was a particularly fun piece in that I had the freedom to not only animate the shot, but I came up with the concept itself. Finding an entertaining collaboration between these two characters was great
@Justo, It depends on the type of studio and your skill set. The big advantage is that there is a much higher demand for tech artists out there thus giving you the freedom to be more picky about where you work.
the video lags up for me a lttle in love Amano's works. such freedom with his lines. though his Final Fantasy stuff isnt my most liked. probably about the middle in those terms.
Got the rest of the retopo done, gonna give whatever the cool kids are calling "2.8" a try. Who knows? Perhaps I'll kick my autodesk habit in favor of the freedom of... freeware.
So I finished her up! So I can finally start doing some sketches again. Yay freedom! The WIP Thread. And the Artstation for more Highres images and breakdowns.
