Where are the rotation replication array adjustments then for static meshes? (Array as in 3d Max "spin/replication" like array based on axis) Have no idea of what term to search for, so thus far haven't found anything specific to what I am after in the editor.
Thankyou! I'm hoping it'll be good enough for a portfolio piece (have to start somewhere I suppose). I'd love to get it into a game, but don't know animation and I didn't model it so it could open for reloading shells. So I guess at best it could be a display / replica weapon :poly124:
ok, after several pushes from different people, I made a skin of the 2 replicas. I still have some tweeking to do on the skins (seams keep showing up in the glamor shots). I will post some other pics of the two once i get the kinks worked out.
Sounds like publicity stunt. Also "stealing" ideas, yea like why not? Its like evolution, if everyone made their own ideas then we only would have shitloads of shitty ideas. Also arent 90% Hollywood movies like almost exact replicas of some standardized script or other?
My take on Fortnite's Compact SMG. This is part of some major fanart, but i decided to post separately. Based on Mark Van Haitsma's highpoly version post and tons of screenshots. Not meant to be and 1:1 replica, but did most of its features as close as i could. More images and Marmoset Viewer:…
Thanks! Yeah, my current goal is to get more familiar with the basics of the head and get good at blocking out the head. When it comes to anatomy, I’m mostly relying on guesswork and replicating the reference There are a lot of areas I’m unsure about, like the volume of the cheek and the placement of the temporal lines.…
Hey everybody, thanks for the comments! Here is the reference I am using for the gun: It is a movie replica of the gun. I've also got a great turnaround of it as well. Here is the wireframe of the gun. This is the High poly. I started out with box modeling and turn on NURMS subdivision when I want to see it smoothed.
Look at the way the light falls off certain features, like the cheeks and eyelids/brows, then compare it to your sculpt and try to replicate it. There are a lot of subtle features on the face you picked. Just keep practicing and eventually you'll train your eye and replicate them more.
Nice stuff, what brand printer did you pick up? I almost bought a Replicator 2 from a coworker but he backed out - grumble. I've been considering a Replicator 2, Ultimaker 2 or buying a build your own Mendel Max kit.
You do know right that most airsoft replicas are not 1:1? Unless you have a GBBR one that is. But looking good so far. Not a fan of the stock wrap, I prefer the good old duct tape cheek riser, but I'd say also just be careful not to have too tight edges.
