Sylvanas Windrunner Autodesk maya, mentalray Photoshop Sylvanas if property of Blizzard! I know; the walls are not a 100% replica of the room in World of Warcraft. The goal here was something a bit more simplistic, but still able to convey the general idea of the room and the character.…
Awesome, Uly...gotta admit, I'm not a weapon-modeling guy but I was very tempted to do this one when I found Weta's awesome replica pics. Pretty spot on, well done! http://www.sideshowtoy.com/cgi-bin/category.cgi?category=hellboy_props&item=8911
Yeah that part. That's a really bad refpic btw, you sure that's a real one? For replica airsoft ones it might be all sharp and square, not necessarily accurate. Also i mainly bring it up because chunky and rounded just looks better, catches much better highlights.
No. the inconsistencies are in your mind only. 1. it is not about quantity of details but quality of details. your characters dont have to be more detailed than they are already. they just need polish so you dont have the errors as i mentioned above. 2. you were offered a test to see if you can do better than what you have…
knowing that someday i will be outta europe and this rathole i live with and be able to work in a studio with people that actually know what game art is Talking gibberish with quebecois people. Humming in a menacing way Drawing girlfriend ( nuff said ) my replica of bill katana. drawing in class.
Working on a replica of Oskar Stalbergs brick block :) Today i added a simple sound effect based on the element height. In the video below the dissapearing elements dont dissolve. I already fixed this with some lines of code. https://twitter.com/3d_eric/status/1097955599806013443?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw
there is a ton of work on there for the Star Wars films and most of it by Ryan Church. This is just crazy. These guys are seriously pissing off a lot of people and they don't even seem to care about it. George Lucas gets guys shut down on ebay that make prop replicas. He will take these guys to the cleaners.
Good blockout so far. I wanted to mention that this gun has been modeled a lot. Quite a few full size replicas have been built as well. One of those iconic sci fi weapons everyone loves. Not meant to discourage, it's just important to know that going forward
A roommate of mine happens to have an airsoft replica of this gun (or something very similar), so I took a bunch of photos for you (including many of the optics). Let me know if you need any more. The offer will be good for only probably a couple days. http://dim.blenderge.com/Images/Rifle_Images.zip
Here is another fun one. This is a material with a little bit of opacity masking and such. I think I got pretty close on this one. The goal is not to replicate the art... but to replicate the fidelity. Once again made from a material instance of the Master Material I made in UE4. :)
