Hi! I have a problem with Zbrush 4R6 p2. The latest windows 10 update screwed up my zbrush because now the windows taskbar is always visible and i cannot access the lower tools brushes etc. Zbrush usually starts normally without the taskbar, but when i press alt+tab, or load a tool the taskbar appears and never gone.… -

Ive just run a series of pretty exhaustive tests with simplygon 10 vs manual lods on a load of characters (we already know it can't cope with hard surface meshes so didn't bother there) TLDR : You'll get a better looking result doing it by hand for the same geometry cost - especially on the lowest lods Simplygon still… -
Mudbox Drops to 10$ a Month
Just wondering if anyone has noticed that Mudbox is now 10$ a month ($495 outright purchase). For the price differential (about 40% cheaper outright, 6.6x cheaper if perpetual), maybe now it competes better with z-brush? Maya - Slow Launch, takes forever to start up. 10+ minutes.
Alright so I can't seem to find a solution anywhere. My Maya takes forever to launch, I'm talking about 10+ minutes if it launches at all freezing up my entire computer every 30 seconds or so while launching.
