Its been 10 years since quake 3... the last game of theirs I really loved. I hope this means they'll have time to get back to making fun games. Not that Rage won't be awesome and not just another engine demo(?). PS. I spent like 15 years playing an id game every day. I miss em.
Very cute Gir! My girlfriend has a 2 1/2 year old here that is loads of fun...most of the time :poly124:. @ Johny - From my experience, I see them at places like petco (big chain pet store) going for $150-$175 most of the time. From a breeder I would assume it would be a lot more.
Here's a work in progress for ya sup guys working from a drawing I did back in school, was a huge achievement for me back then so kinda fun to re-vamp one of my favorite pieces I'm hoping to polish this thing up by friday. Any tutorials for painting cityscapes you could point me towards would be awesome Thanks!
Been playing guitar for a while(maybe 7 years) but Ive never had effects pedals and Im wondering wether to get some effects board, Im thinking the boss me-70, any opinions on this? I guess its just for fun and songwriting at the moment because although Ive had a band in the past I dont have one now.
You probably box modeled this in Max right? Really the way to go is sculpting. You dont need zBrush for this (although it helps). Alot of 3d apps have the capability these days. One example is the open source software Blender3D. Place a human scull model under your sculpt to check on structure as you go. Make alot of…
For what you want to do Murphy's tutorial is "still a thing." You noted; "old-school" hand-painting. You will quickly learn that hand-painting is a skill that takes a lot of patience and practice. You will need some customized brushes. This video is "old" but still applicable as well.…
Didn't really spend too much time on this one, mainly just wanted to get it all put together, and then..... Get it into Unity. Boom, distant low poly terrain. Tilable and then you could make hero assets that could intersect to have some landmarks. Should be fun when I actually try and make something for reals. Until next…
Thanks for the replies guys. Sorry I wasn't thinking. Heres some 3D stuff I did for fun. I'm already working on a full human figure but it's taking a long time, which I now realize I don't really have. It's all High Poly, I need to learn retopo too. It's not perfect but maybe I can upgrade some of it?
Right now I'm still using Substance and a little Photoshop for all my textures. I still haven't taken the leap to fully handpainted textures, but that and 3DCoat are on my to-do list for sure. I'll need to keep an eye out for some good software sales when they come around. It seems like it could be really fun but it's…
Good evening with all Here I update my topic. then:P you think of it what of this small texture .
