So far from what gameplay i've seen the card is pretty much useless if you already have a 560-ti+ on a SINGLE monitor. Most fps gains are about 40 but theyre well above 60 so it isn't a HUGE visual difference, you just wont hit rock bottom on your min fps.
Thanks :) Might look over the metal if I can find the time for it. Time is really starting to feel sparse... Went over the tank and softened the bevels on some areas, thanks for the feedback. Btw, does anyone know how many polies that are used for a next-gen tank? Was thinking of going between 30- 40 000. Is that to much?
Were it not for the title I would have assumed this was a turkey in a welders mask. If this did indeed take 40+ hours I would suggest you put down 3D for a while and focus on learning artistic fundamentals, especially composition and design. Artistic fundamentals are the root of all successful images and no amount of deep…
oh i pre-ordered at gamestop like a month ago. i didnt get a code or anything, just a case that says Uncaged below the main title. this is after waiting outside the store for 40 minutes cause the guys inside were playing grab-ass and opened late. should i go back and ask for a code?
draw a lot, draw everything, study. You think you draw alot, you probably don't (30-40 hours a week). either that or you dont draw from reference so you keep making the same mistakes. Your 14 though, that's a good age to get serious, everyone has to start somewhere.
Thats another reason to go with warmachine, less pieces, less cost. They're often bigger and easier to paint if you really do like painting you can take your time and not get burned out on the 4th of 40 units left to paint. I haven't played space hulk in forever, man that would be fun.
I've had two times where I got into WOW, each time I spent only a month playing, after a month I realize the gameplay is kind of monotonous and quit. In a few monthes I will open my lvl 40 again and hopefully get him up another ten levels, and quit again.
I wish I could help you with glass, but that is not anything I have tried before either. I know 3d Motive has a few great tuts for sale on UDK materials-glass included. They are like $15 apiece, or like $40 for the whole 3 set bundle. Looks pretty good so far!
They look like good tutorials but their prices are a bit exaggerated imo. $40 for a 2hr texturing tut is a bit bonkers. Eat3D might be $20 more on average but the tutorials are far more in depth, cover a broader range and offer far more content per purchase. I might give some of 3Dmotives cheaper tuts a go, however.
I'm off in about 15 minutes to go stand in line. I went by Gamestop about an hour ago to 'finalize' my order. There were about 15 peeps standing outside. I'm not concerned it will get much larger than 30-40 people. I'm guaranteed my deluxe copy, so I'm not in a big rush :)
