UE5.2 & Maya 2024 Live Link not working
Greetings! I've wanted to test out Live Link between Maya and Unreal Engine for a long time now, but my project has been running UE5.2. You can use it when you put the script in a .mel file in your maya\2024\prefs\scripts directory. I'll log it. Sorry for the bug. We recently fixed a different case with chamfer. Must have broken something. For now if you want to stay with 2021, but use the 2020 algorithm, you can run this on your chamfer modified object. $.modifiers[1].SetVersion #Ver2020_1 -
How to have a matte/unlit shader in the viewport and in Arnold renderer in 3ds Max?
Hi, I can't seem to find an option to have a matte/unlit shader in the viewport and in Arnold renderer with latest versions of 3ds Max 2023, 2024. I just want a single colour or colour texture to appear as is in the viewport and in Arnold. But with some of the legacy shaders and renderer deprecated, I can't find a solution… -
