Hey guys! This is a Dota 2 courier I'm hoping to finish by summer...with some luck I can get him into the store! Just looking for some first impressions and critique. Does it look like it could fit into the Dota world?
Title says it all, I would like to use designer to process some terrain height map (they usually comes in non-power-of-2 size, such as 1081x1081), and game engine like Unreal also expect the map to be non-power-of-2 (such as 1009x1009). So I attempts to procedurally preprocess these height map then resize them to Unreal…
Hi. This is my first time working using Udim Workflow. For my model I use 1 material with 2 Udims (uv tiles) and for each of them I need a mesh map in SP. When I bake mesh maps inside SP, they are automatically distributed to the slots in the mesh maps tab and each mesh map has the number 2, which means that 2 textures are…
It's not "out of the box" for any of these, including max/maya, but the concept is really so basic that all you need is to strap together a simple tool to offset the module's transforms based on the difference between it's otherwise default transform in relation to the other module and the "attachment node's" transform....…

Farfarer is right, texture calls is not draw calls. If you put 2 shaders/materials with the same texture they will still render 2 draw calls, but only one texture call on memory.
So If i wanted to use vertex paint. I could only either use 4 diffuse or 2 diffuse and 2 normal or any combination of 4 texture samples? Is this correct?
Congrats on another fine release Riki. I will buy this like the others and thank you again for maintaining a quality that is high with these releases. What will part 2 be? and is there only a part 2 in the works?
2 1/2 hours sculpting. on painkillers and antibiotics, i'll admit i didn't give it my all =[ thanks everyone for watching the stream though! i'll definitely do more =]
Oh but you have to watch season 2 to feel the impact of what's going on in season 3! Season 2 was slow....but if you watch them all back to back it is so worth it!
