Hello friends, i am desperatly searching for a Maya script that can batch export a set of selected meshes, as single objects as dae-fbx. Ideally while keepinh the mesh name. I have a scene file with 50 + meshes that regularly need to be exported as separate objects. Any help is greatly welcomed Thanks a lot!
Hey guys, Do any of you know of any batch exporters for maya that can export out a bunch of selected files and into separate .ma files that are named what the objects were called in the outliner? Setting up a reference library, and it'd be pretty handy. I've seen a few that will do FbX, but I need .ma. cheers.
I have a question, hopefully someone can help me, how I can export as PNG a final render using Arnold without seeing the ground and the shadow can be used under any surface, with white surface it seems integrated the png exported from maya but with dark surface the shadow seems grayish as a stain as I can do to have a…
Hey again, A small problem and either google doesn't know the answer or i'm asking it the wrong questions. As you can see, here is an opacity map that i've painted in substance painter 1. When exporting this, my alpha channel of my diffuse map is completely black. So how else am i supposed to extract it? I've tried several…
Hello guys. I want to bake 8k maps in Painter. I can only go up to 4k in the project settings, but the baker options allow me to chose 8k. However, I can only export the bakes as 4k maps. Google says something about Vram and bugs with old versions. But I got the latest version and can easily work with 8k maps in other…
Unfortunately no keys were laid down, and I've tried it on another computer. I think I'm just going to scale it manually rather than waste anymore time on this. FlynT I had a look at that exporter but it said it can only export one mesh at a time, so would it not be able to export my collision together then? Thanks for…
I find myself using atleast 3 different modeling programs to get things done. Sometimes I get a bad export from one and need to load into another package before I can go to my desired end package. Aside from Polytrans, are there any other mesh format export/import tools out there?
So I exported an .obj of a character I'm working on. I polypainted him and got him all set up, but when I exported him to TopoGun, his texture tones changed to a grey, even leaving out a part on the back of the arm. Can anyone help? http://imgur.com/a/btChG
There could well be a proper export workflow (I don’t really work with cat) but you could always just multi-select the bone objects in unity and remove the mesh filter/renderer components, which will have the same end result as a ‘proper’ solution. Everything is just gameobjects with different components applied at the end…
