Yes, I would do that if I had a 240gb SSD and 1TB Drive. The 240gb one will help you boot and run programs very fast. Saving will take a bit more time on the 1TB drive but you won't notice that much of a gap most of the time unless you save huge files. I use a 480gb ssd for my boot drive.
