Max 2011 - Graphite tools - Step Loop. When using step loop on a vertical loop of edges, it selects a different edge to the end edge. It works fine on a horizontal loop. Is it possible to fix this?
Hi all, I'm trying to bake a normal map in 3dsMax but the result I'm getting is absolute horrid! I'm pretty sure my smoothing groups and UVs are setup correctly (seams on hard edges), there's no overlapping UVs and I've exploded the mesh when baking. more of a question than an advice but shouldn't you trim down on the "edge padding" ? I see allot of overlapping AO island pieces that will surely cause errors.
Ok here is my situation. I just recently started using Speedtree. I finished a couple tutorial models and they all import properly into udk. Now I customized my own tree, and when I import it into udk the mesh explodes on me. Has anyone run into this before.
Hi, I was hoping someone might be able to illuminate possible areas to check I've been trying to import my SBSAR file into UE4 however the imported textures are not displaying correctly at all! I don't know why this file is doing this when other SBSAR files are importing correctly.
I get often those issues, even if the uvmap is perfectly clear, , the lp model is perfectly matching the high poly one , so I do not understand why I get those artefacts?

hey does anyone know why the pelt mapper would select the wrong edges to stretch from? I have a head, and I delete a horn from it, and now there is a hole. I could have sworn in the past I have done this with ears and such, and it grabs the neck hole to stretch from. Anyone know why it would want to select the hole in the…
