3ds max sss skin and mr sun+mr sky
my renders for my sss skin renders black with mr sun+mr sky. i have logarithmic exposure control on and FG and GI on. whats the deal? -

Are you letting the render finish? It sounds like you're just seeing the first pass with FG-tiles. The render will smooth out once it's complete. -

I would guess it has to do with your Final Gather settings. You'll need to jack your FG quality up a bit to remove that flickering. -

For which ones? The renders at the top are actually just a reg blin not that you would notice it and fg turned on in mental ray :) Unless your talking about other things? -
